Lost Ski Areas of the Berkshires: A Presentation by Jeremy Davis

November 5, 2020 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

From the 1930s to the 1970s, forty-four ski areas were developed throughout the Berkshires. Only seven remain today. This presentation will explore the histories of these former ski areas and their contributions to the ski industry. Before and after photographs, trail maps, personal stories, and their new roles in the landscape will be shown to bring these areas to life.

The presentation is free, but an optional $5 contribution to the New England Ski Museum is suggested. Davis’ book on the Lost Ski Areas of the Berkshires will also be available for sale directly from the New England Ski Museum. 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Museum.
